"I'm Said, and it's my fourth season at Birmingham Baseball Club. I've been part of an extraordinary evolution from a small group of enthusiasts to a thriving community asset, fostering a vibrant baseball culture.

Most of our players started playing as adults. Players miss out on development at earlier ages, and we saw an opportunity, where youngsters' development is fast tracked. We hope to improve the standard of baseball in the region alongside increasing access to the sport in an organised manner, something that has been lacking for a while.

I have been in youth work for more than 12 years. I was a scout and currently volunteer as a scout leader, helping young people learn life skills, and I've seen the magic of youth work and investing in young people.

Above all, our focus is on having fun. I want every child to love the game, and foster friendships and memories for life."
